Passion in giving back by doing humanitarian medical services to the underserved starting in the Philippines with use of medical mobile clinics and telemedicine. Graduated BS Nursing at Far Eastern University, Philippines, BS Biology Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois, and Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Stanford University.

CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER Medical degree from College of Medicine, University of the Philippines, Manila, with training in General, Thoracic, and Cardiovascular Surgery from the Philippine General Hospital. Experience in community medicine in the areas of Cebu, Bohol and Batangas, Philippines. Has worked with several non-profit organizations in the Philippines to provide quality healthcare to underserved communities of Pampanga. |
CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER / TREASURER Alicia Fortaleza, Registered Nurse, has devoted 35 years of service, mainly in nursing administration, at hospitals of the San Francisco Department of Public Health. In 2012 she was honored as one of the 100 Most Influential Filipina Women in the US by the FWN. Ms. Fortaleza believes in giving back to her country and spends time volunteering for health & wellness projects and medical missions on the Philippines. She is currently building the administrative capacity of ABC’s for Global Health. |
CHIEF RESEARCH OFFICER Professor of Medicine and Research Scientist, Stanford University Department of Medicine. Her research has focused on the study of diverse population, chronic diseases, and prevention. She is the Scientific Director of Precision Genomics and Pharmacogenomics in Primary Care. She co-founded the CARE, Center for Asian Health Research and Education at Stanford. |
SECRETARY An aspiring medical student and graduate of San Francisco State University receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Most recently a Fellow of Stanford’s Clinical Observation and Medical Transcription (COMET) post baccalaureate program at Stanford Express Care Clinic. Previous experience working with non-profit organizations as an administrative assistant at Planet Bee Foundation, Teen Leadership Advisor at Red Shield Salvation Army Youth Center, and participation in medical missions with Global Brigades. Passionate in community outreach, health education, and youth mentorship. |

Ms. Tang has worked closely with ABCGH since 2017, previously serving as Secretary and leading service programs in Pampanga, Philippines. She is Co-Founder and served as Director of the Berkeley Medical Reserve Corps, a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services deployable disaster medical unit. She was a Princeton in Asia NGO fellow working throughout the ASEAN region. She holds a B.A. in Integrative Biology from the University of California, Berkeley and is a licensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Hilary is an aspiring physician. |

Arthur Gallo, MD
TREASURER Eleanor C. Wong, MAED and BSChE, St. Louis University; CELTA, Cambridge University. Mrs. Wong is the Founder and CEO of ViaVox Centre for Languages, with students from the Philippines, Russia, Ukraine, China, Korea, Japan, and currently holds senior administrative and EFL teaching positions at ViaVox. Actively involved with programs to promote affordable healthy nutrition. |
SECRETARY Mr. Mallari serves as a Medical Assistant and trained nurse. He has extensive training in emergency and surgical cases. In his time with ABCGH, he has been an advocate for promoting quality healthcare services for all. He enjoys working with the communities and has found his love for serving them. |

LEAD PHARMACIST
Mr. Ocampo is a Registered Pharmacist and Lead Pharmacist of ABCGH. He holds a BS in Pharmacy from Centro Escolar University and a MPH from Angeles University Foundation. Extensive experience in community pharmacy, pharmacy education, research, and presentations. Mr. Ocampo is Faculty of Our Lady of Fatima University College of Pharmacy in Pampanga, with hopes to raise up new pharmacists that have the passion to serve the underserved. |
MEDICAL ASSISTANT Mr. Mendoza serves as a Medical Assistant and trained nurse. He has extensive experience working in the emergency department for 3 years. He offers his paramedical expertise to ABCGH to promote quality healthcare for the underserved communities. Working with ABCGH has enabled him to practice what he loves, especially going into the field with the Mobile Clinic. |
COORDINATOR
Ms. Manansala works as the Coordinator for ABCGH. She holds a B.A. from St. Nicolas College of Business. Extensive experience in customer relations, book keeping, accounting, and management. She has shown true grit that is needed for fulfilling the goals of the organization to bring about quality health services. |
TRANSPORTATION OFFICER
Mr. Dizon works as the Transportation Officer for ABCGH. His passion for driving has been an asset to the organization in bringing about quality healthcare to the most remote parts of Pampanga. His love for the outdoors complements the adventures brought by working with the Mobile Clinic team. |

Mr. Esteves was the mayor of Milpitas, California and graduated from the University of the Philippines Diliman, UCLA Anderson School of Management, and Harvard College John F. Kennedy School of Government. He was the first Filipino to hold his mayoral position. |

Robert Franklin, PhD
Dr. Franklin taught and held administrative positions at Harvard College and Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. He later held senior positions in development offices of Harvard, Stanford and Columbia Universities. His roles were managing staff, and planning and implementing large capital campaigns for the Universities. |
Evaleen Jones, MD
Dr. Jones founded Child Family Health International, a nonprofit organization with more than 30 programs in 10 countries that connect students from the US with local health professionals to provide community-based health education. Her commitment to the underserved stems from growing up in rural New Jersey and spending her college years in the Appalachian region of Virginia, where poverty prevails. Dr. Jones specializes in Family Medicine, Addiction Medicine, Hospice and Palliative Health. She has received numerous awards including the 2009 Women of Influence in the Silicon Valley, Women Leaders in Medicine Award and Oprah Winfrey’s “ Women with Heart.” |
Jeff Kawaguchi
Jeff is a San Francisco native. At KPMG he became licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He finished his Masters in Taxation at Golden Gate University after he established his own CPA practice 33 years ago. Jeff’s practice is evolving into a legacy & estate planning and lifestyle coaching practice. Jeff and Pam love to spend time with their growing family with in-laws and 3 grandchildren. Favorite other passion is traveling the world and “sharing and caring”. |
Pamela Kawaguchi, CPA
Pamela Kawaguchi, Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner, has 40 years of business administration, finance, accounting and auditing experience. She is an expert in business operations, process reengineering, internal controls, banking solutions and compliance auditing. Her clients include Stanford University, Notre Dame de Namur University, Wells Fargo and Deloitte LLC. She is now a longevity and lifestyle coach. Patrick Meehan is a family physician who currently is the medical director at the Innovative Care Clinic at San Mateo Medical Center and a clinical instructor at Stanford University Department of Medicine. He has been the state health officer in both New Hampshire and Georgia; has been district health director of a 3-county health district in Georgia; and worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Georgia in several leadership roles including the first director of Emergency Preparedness and Response. |
Elena Lopez, PhD
Ph.D. in Anthropology, Harvard University, Co-Director of the Global Family Research Project. Dr. Lopez is dedicated to improving educational opportunities for disadvantaged children. She was involved as a senior researcher at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines. Malathi Srinivasan, MD
Dr. Srinivasan is an internist and clinical professor of medicine in primary care and population health at Stanford University School of Medicine. She has held many leadership roles in medical schools and professional societies as well as taught leadership courses for faculty. Sakti Srivastava, MD
Dr. Srivastava is Associate Professor of Surgery and Division Chief of Clinical Anatomy at Stanford University School of Medicine. His core interest is in combining computer technology and medicine for innovative applications. He has developed solutions for computer-aided instruction aimed at medical and allied health professionals and worked in the area of networked applications for telemedicine and tele-education. Dr. Yamat practices dentistry in Daly City, California. She is a member of the American Dental Association and President of South San Francisco Golden Gate Lions Club. She is also the founder of Global Intercoastal Recovery Foundation. She is active in charity work in the Philippines, leading free clinics and volunteering in medical missions. |
Gloria Kim
Advisory Board Member After receiving her BS from Stanford, Dr Kim completed her medical and post-graduate training and joined the faculty at UCLA School of Medicine. In 1989, she moved to Hong Kong with her family where she became a Fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine and was licensed to practice as a specialist. In Hong Kong she maintained an active private practice and was managing director of a health services consultancy advising individual, multinational and educational institutions (including during SARS and the Avian flu outbreak). More recently, in addition to being a member of the faculty of Stanford School of Medicine, she is a Medical Director of Stanford International Medical Services Department, and Director of Education for Stanford Center for Health Research and Education. She is also the Chairman of the Chi-Li Pao Foundation, USA, a Trustee of the Chi-Li Pao Foundation, Hong Kong and a member of Harvard Global Health and Service Advisory Council. |

Corinne Alston Corinne is a driven and passionate collaborator with strong experience in playing a key role supporting executives across Silicon Valley’s Fortune 100 companies, including IBM, Sun, HP, Yahoo, Cisco Systems. She is currently working as an executive assistant at a VC firm. As an avid wellness enthusiast for health, fitness, and nutrition, Corinne has spent her life pursuing all things related to health education. She has served as a fitness coach at the YMCA for 7 years. As a past Board Advisor and volunteer at Silicon Valley Technology, Art, Green, and Sustainability, she continues her passion the holistic wellbeing for the planet and all humankind. She is eager to continue leveraging her penchant for volunteer leadership and philanthropy for the healing of the world. |

Chief Media Officer Jenny is experienced in the field of social media and entrepreneurship. With a combined following of 10 million across her social media platforms, she has strong knowledge of current trends, marketing tactics, and how to captivate an audience. Jenny has a few business ventures, notably her slime business (Jenny Slimey) and her clothing brand (Whoop). Furthermore, Jenny has collaborated with brands such as Duo-Lingo, The British Council, Nestle, Invisalign, and more through campaigns on her social media platforms. Jenny is passionate about helping the community, especially with her mission of helping those living in hard economic situations. Currently residing in Orange County and a rising college freshman, Jenny is eager to serve ABC’s for Global Health the website, media, and marketing. |
