Bangus and Malunggay Soup

Ingredients 

Preparation

1 pack of Long Beans
2 cups of okra
4 cloves of garlic
½ yellow onion
Tail and Head of 1 Bangús
1 bushel of Malunggay
2 small tomatoes
4 cups of water
3 tablespoons ginger
Salt
Pepper
1 tablespoon Fish Sauce
  1. Cut and clean bangús by removing the tail and head and set them aside.
  2. Cut and clean vegetables and set aside.
  3. Heat oil in a pan on medium to high heat. Add garlic and stir till light brown.
  4. Add onions and tomatoes and stir till the onions are light brown.
  5. Add fish and cook for 10 minutes.
  6. Add  2 cups of water and add the rest of the vegetables.
  7. Season  with salt, pepper, and 1 tablespoon of fish sauce.
  8. Cover and cook for about 10 minutes and until the bangús is cooked and the okra and long beans are tender.
  9. Serve with about two cups per serving.
