ABC Helps During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Due to the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) implemented here in the Philippines (mainly Luzon), many of our Cabalens here in Pampanga are being devastated to the effects of jobs being postponed, public transportation on hold and the marginalized people relying on relief goods from the government for their daily sustenance. We at ABC's For Global Health Foundation Inc. had opted to help our brethren and donate the Manna Packs as one of their food source (being rice as a staple here). We are able to help out in some of our neighboring communities (City of San Fernando, Angeles City, Mexico).

Free Pan De Sal Sandwiches and Coffee
We are also offering free pan de sal sandwiches and coffee to the people who can no longer buy food daily. This is our own little way of giving back.

ABC's for Global Health Foundation Inc. is doing its part in helping out during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic. We were able to distribute a total of 2520 Manna Packs (equivalent to 15,120 servings) to different communities in Pampanga. Apart from that, the team has been providing daily provisions of sandwiches, chicken and egg soup, pancit and porridge to the front-liners and to the less fortunate.

In support to our front-liners, ABCGH has donated the following to assist them in their fight against COVID-19:
1. Disposable Surgical Gowns - 180 pieces
2. Sterile Gloves - 500 pieces
3. Head Cover - 200 pieces
4. Shoe Cover - 100 pieces
5. N95 Mask - 50 pieces
6. Face Mask with shield - 25 pieces
7. Patient Gowns - 100 pieces
8. Various medical supplies (syringes, IV sets, wound dressing kits, ambu bags, BP app for ICU use, surgical drapes)

These were distributed to four COVID-19 referral centers across Pampanga.

ABCGH has continued its service to the underserved communities by providing maintenance medicines and starting its tele-consultation. To better serve its hometown, ABCGH has started its online deliveries of medicines and supplies.

In Need of Face Shields?

Thank you to our student volunteer Leo Gong who has made and delivered hundreds of face masks to clinics and hospitals across the Bay Area!

Here is a video on how to make face shields at home with office supplies.
